Higher Ground Productions was founded by Yolanda King in 1990, as a vehicle for delivering her powerful messages of peace, unity and diversity to the world through her passion for the arts.  Although she was supported in her mission by five powerful women (Ms. Venita, Wanda Marie, Tanya White, Jennifer Lanning and Connie Cooper), she herself was the vision holder and driving force behind Higher Ground Productions.  All those who supported her did so not only because she was an incredibly amazing woman, but we all shared her vision for world peace.  Although the Higher Ground Productions corporation is in transition, Yolanda King's vision of a more peaceful world shall continue.
